Superintendent

Josh Laughridge

Josh has led Kenmure Country Club’s golf course maintenance since 2006. His pit bull mix, Harper, usually opts to stay home and play house cat, while the crew looks to Josh for calm leadership, agronomic precision, and a long-range vision of continuous improvement.

Leadership Pillars

  • Wall-to-wall bentgrass expertise in a Southeast climate, balancing microclimates and seasonal transitions.
  • Data-driven agronomy: calibrated sprayers, spreadsheet spray logs, and disciplined fungicide rotations.
  • Hands-on mentorship—Josh is on the course with the crew daily, guiding aerification, flood recovery, and renovation projects.
  • Community stewardship that extends from creek-bank restoration to clubhouse landscape enhancements.

Operations & Communication

Daily briefings set tasks, while spray logs and planner sheets record the agronomy plan. Reel maintenance schedules and safety checklists anchor expectations. Member updates flow through the launch center, social channels, and clubhouse check-ins so conditions stay transparent.

"Work hard, stay humble, and make the property better every day."
